Industry Model Plan with Visual Presentation: a Proposal to Introduce New Media in Ulta

Course:  Comm 5610 - Assessing Media Transformation Instructor:  Professor Yonatan Tewelde A.  Assignment:   Create a formal industry model plan incorporating some type of "new media" into an established business relying on a business model framework. A visual aid was also required to illustrate the business model.  Thought Process:  I chose to incorporate 'new media' into Ulta Beauty Company. My idea stemmed from the online 'try-on' accessories some cosmetics provide that let the user see a certain shade of makeup on them before they purchase. This is an in-store version in the form of a kiosk. The media would allow the user to manipulate various products virtually through AI and AR technology before purchase.  Product:  Industry Model Plan Visual Presentation:  Visual Presentation

Create a well conceived and presented document representing many aspects of the media planning process learned through the semester.  Thought Process:  I was assigned to analyze and produce a media plan for the brand Ikea. The first part of the project was to analyze components such as the category/marketplace, consumers, and the brands accomplishments and challenges. In the second part, I created a hypothetical media plan to enhance the shopping experience for those who don't live close to an Ikea, so all consumers (in person and online) can experience the shopping they initially planned for their consumers.  Product:  Media P...
