Thought Process: With parter Cammie Starner, we used her experience working in the Clinical and Translational Research Unit at Ohio University. With the team moving to a remote environment post covid, many members were not as involved in departmental functions, conversations, etc. Our persuasion initiative used concepts such as Organizational Culture, Structuration Theory and Gamification to persuade employees to get involved more with face-to-face interactions and 'outside of work' conversations.
